Singapore Airlines has grounded two Boeing 787 Dreamliner jets after finding durability issues with the their troubled Rolls-Royce engines.
The carrier said it had detected premature blade deterioration on some of the Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 TEN engines on its Boeing 787-10 fleet, and withdrew two aircraft from service pending engine replacements.
Shares in British engineer Rolls-Royce fell 1.5 per cent shortly after the open in London on Tuesday.
